This comment is in regards to a posting I saw yesterday on a social networking site I am involved with.The posting is about “safe injecting rooms.”
I live in Vancouver,Britsh Columbia and for over ten years we have had a safe injection site,called Insite. I hadn’t given it too much thought over the years until this past year when I found out someone dear to me had a problem and began usuing this facility. There he was treated with kindness, given valuable information on programs available to him and recieved medical care for a skin infection related to IV drug use. When he was ready,he went to the detox center above the facility,Onsite.
Unfortunately,he is still in active addiction, however I do know that the rates for Hiv and Hep C infections have dropped considerably over the years here in the lower mainland. I am all for safe injection sites!

this may look like interesrting reading but read it again as if it was u…. its nice to tell storys but this is just the top layer and my advice to anyone with curiousity,forget about it.looked where it got me……
